Google Calendar pro-tip: Looking ahead

By Greg O'Kane, Production Director

Google Calendar monthly view is a pain in the neck when I know there’s a lot going on in early September — starting a week from tomorrow — yet I can’t see any of it. A little too “out of sight, out of mind” for comfort. There is a fix to this that I wanted to share:

Go to Calendar > Gear icon > Settings > Custom View: Set this to 2, 3, or 4 weeks, as needed. Hit Save and return to the calendar. Your custom view will appear as a button along the top right corner of the calendar.

Now regardless of the time of the month the calendar can “round the bend” to the next month and show me the 3 weeks ahead instead of an unhelpful recap of the 3 weeks in August that have already passed.
