Meet the newest member of North Street’s Communications Team, London Biedron (pronounced bē-uh-drōn).

As Client Development Specialist, London is responsible for generating leads and elevating North Street’s business opportunities. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and sales expertise are just a few of the fantastic qualities she brings to the company. Read on to learn more about London and her first few months at North Street.

What were you doing before North Street?

I’m a professional actress! I’ve been working on stage or in front of the camera for as long as I can remember. When the pandemic shut down the entertainment industry, I took a leap of faith and joined the business world. I have loved how it has changed my day-to-day and helped me grow. Doing both full-time now makes me feel like Superman; find me a phone booth to change in, and I’m good to jump into either setting and kick butt!

What do you bring to the company?

I bring a fresh sales perspective within a creative realm, building on what is already foundational at North Street. We don’t view others as numbers to be bought, sold, or molded to our desire; we partner with other human beings to help them create something beautiful.

Which NS core value do you most identify with and why?

I honestly can’t pick just one! My top three are Moxie, Empathy, and Curiosity. I believe there is strength in connecting with and investing in others, especially with those who challenge your perception of normalcy.

What have you liked about working at NS so far?

It’s an incredible community focused on teamwork, group effort, world-class communication, and creative thinking. There is no shortage of helping hands! I have also truly appreciated the Onboarding process – well-defined expectations, access to all the help needed, room for creative input, and wonderful encouragement for independent growth within a robust support system.

If I could use one word to describe the culture, it would be “strength.” Across the board, this team has shown its unified strength and has proven that they make others stronger through collaboration and commitment to excellence.

When you are at work, how do you motivate yourself?

Music is a massive part of my life. If I feel like I’m in a slump, I pull a “Grey’s Anatomy” dance party moment, and I’m usually ready to jump right back in! If I need a little more of a push, I step outside and go for a walk to remind myself that the world is so big and whatever is bogging me down is so tiny in comparison.

Bonus round: What’s a fun fact about you?

I’m incredibly cat obsessed. It is almost guaranteed that I will have at least one set of foster kittens running around. Zoom calls are always a fun game of “how many kittens can you spot in the background?”
