Bartaco is a casual, surf-inspired purveyor of Latino cuisine with restaurants spanning the country.
The brand’s outdated legacy website was a poor proxy for the hip, colorful, and sun-drenched in-restaurant dining experience. Bartaco engaged North Street to bring those fun, SoCal vibes online.

Being co-owned by an accomplished photographer and multimedia artist, Bartaco was able to provide North Street with a wealth of beautiful, beach life imagery, which we wove together with photos of the restaurants, the food, and the drinks. The imagery was complemented by an ocean-inspired color palette, informal and approachable type choices, and halftone patterns.
The FUN in functionality
The site was built out on WordPress with custom controls for adding/removing menu items, selecting and adding locations, and running promotions. The mobile view of the site prioritizes the display of each location’s phone number, address, directions, and online ordering menu.
