Modern Markets Initiative is an advocacy group that stumps for the somewhat controversial use of high-frequency trading technologies in the market.
The challenge MMI faced was thoughtfully explaining the complexity of high-frequency trading (HFT) to an audience of outsiders (i.e., regulators, media, retail investors, etc.). North Street’s solution was to produce a series of animated explainer videos that leverage animation and “HFT 101” narratives to break things down to the basics.
